What is the Home Instruction Supervision Program?
Chesterton Academy of St. Mary’s is registered with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) to supervise home instruction for portfolio reviews under .05 of the home instruction regulations COMAR 13A.10.01 for Home Instruction in Maryland.
The CASM Home Instruction Supervision Program does not provide instruction or curriculum. We serve as an umbrella services program to help families register as homeschoolers in the state of Maryland and to help ensure that regular and thorough instruction is occurring, as set forth by COMAR regulations.
Who can enroll?
Students from Kindergarten to 12th grade are able to enroll in this program.
Is there any way of getting proof of enrollment for extracurriculars?
Yes, we can provide a Letter of Enrollment upon request.
Does this program provide report cards?
No, we are unable to provide report cards.
